You Don’t Have to Keep Living in the Same Patterns
You may look capable and composed on the outside while feeling completely different underneath.
Maybe you’re constantly overthinking, questioning yourself, or waiting for something to go wrong. You keep ending up in relationships that leave you anxious, disappointed, or disconnected from yourself. You struggle to set boundaries without guilt. You know something needs to change, but you’re not sure how to make that change last.
You may even understand exactly why you are this way.
But understanding the pattern and knowing how to break it are two different things.
Individual therapy gives you a place to slow down, understand what is actually driving your thoughts and choices, and begin responding differently. This applies not only when life is calm, but also in the moments when your anxiety, emotions, or old coping mechanisms usually take over.
Therapy That Goes Beyond Talking About the Problem
Therapy with me is active, honest, and focused on meaningful change.
I’m not a therapist who will simply sit back, nod, and ask, “How does that make you feel?” I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns you may not see on your own, and gently challenge you when something is keeping you stuck.
Together, we’ll explore how your past may be influencing your present without allowing it to define your future. We’ll identify the beliefs, behaviors, and relationship dynamics that are no longer serving you and develop practical tools to help you move forward.
Depending on your needs, our work may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma informed care, attachment based therapy, and parts work. Your therapy will be tailored to you and what you need most.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You may be:
• Overthinking conversations, decisions, or relationships
• Feeling anxious even when everything appears to be going well
• Repeating relationship patterns you promised yourself you would avoid
• Struggling to set boundaries or express what you need
• Taking care of everyone else while quietly becoming overwhelmed
• Putting intense pressure on yourself to succeed
• Comparing yourself to others and feeling as though you are falling behind
• Navigating a breakup, divorce, career change, move, or major life transition
• Feeling disconnected from yourself or uncertain about what you truly want
• Struggling with food, body image, perfectionism, or control
• Carrying painful experiences that continue to affect your present
• Tired of understanding your patterns without being able to change them
You do not need to wait until everything falls apart before asking for support.
What We’ll Work Toward
Our work is not about becoming a completely different person. It is about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of how you respond to your life.
Therapy can help you:
• Understand and interrupt unhealthy patterns
• Manage anxiety and regulate difficult emotions
• Build stronger boundaries without overwhelming guilt
• Develop healthier and more secure relationships
• Strengthen self trust and confidence
• Process trauma and painful life experiences
• Improve your relationship with food and your body
• Navigate change, loss, and uncertainty
• Stop living according to what you “should” want
• Make decisions that feel aligned with who you are now
The goal is not simply to feel better during your session. It is to create changes you can actually feel in your relationships, choices, and everyday life.
You Can Understand Yourself and Still Need Help Moving Forward
Being self aware does not mean you should be able to solve everything alone.
Sometimes the strongest and most capable people are the ones who have become exceptionally good at pushing through, intellectualizing their feelings, and convincing everyone, including themselves, that they are fine.
You do not need more pressure to “get it together.” You need a space where you can be honest about what is not working, understand why it keeps happening, and learn how to choose something different.
If you’re ready to stop repeating the same patterns and begin creating meaningful change, I’d be honored to work with you.
